Last week, I had the pleasure of hosting a Christmas photo pop-up in Ellen Lien Rygg’s space at Kultur L1 in downtown Randaberg, and what a day it turned out to be! ❤️
Families stopped by for drop-in Christmas portraits, and the whole place was filled with holiday spirit, complete with Christmas music and gingerbread cookies.
Two local newspapers also covered this little holiday project and my journey. They reached out because they wanted to share the story behind why I started Lenzeih Photo Association, and what motivates me. Here are a few excerpts from what they wrote:
From Newspaper 1 — about my journey and Lenzeih
“Ingrid (30) was tired of living life in a hamster wheel, so she made the choice that changed everything. As a child, Ingrid Håvardsholm felt trapped when she wasn’t allowed to pursue her passion. Now she’s chasing the dream of giving a new generation what she never had.”
The journalist met me at Kultur L1 and interviewed me there. I shared how I started Lenzeih Photo Association after a sudden burst of inspiration right before heading to a concert, one of those moments where ideas just come rushing in. That became the beginning of the association.
The article also explained why the Christmas photo project means so much to me:
“Many people feel stressed during the holiday season and think they don’t have time. Ingrid wants to lower the threshold by creating a magical backdrop and helping families get it done without the stress.”

And that’s exactly it. I wanted to offer something simple, warm, and affordable for people in the middle of a hectic December.
From Newspaper 2 — about the Christmas Photo Pop-Up at Kultur L1
“Running late with your holiday cards this year? Ingrid has the answer.”
This newspaper wrote about the drop-in setup and how we transformed Kultur L1 into a small Christmas photo studio. They explained that families could either take the photos themselves or have me take and edit them within 24 hours.
